A couple of months ago a very dear friend of the family and loved brother in our congregation, Paul Hoover, wasn't feeling very well. He had bronchitis which later became pneumonia. He recuperated from that but he still wasn't feeling right. He then began to have a very high fever that wouldn't go away which triggered him to go to the hospital on Tuesday 1/3/17.
Many test were run and the doctors found something abnormal in his liver. They decided to do a biopsy. On Thursday 1/12/17 Paul Hoover was sadly diagnosed with cancer. Later tests show that the origin of the cancer is in his upper stomach and lower esophagus.
Treatment has not been discussed yet since there is some further testing that needs to be done.
As you can imagine there is great cost involved with medical deductibles and co-payments. Along with this there are the everyday expenses for the home and groceries. Since Paul is currently unable to go to work you can imagine the financial stress that the Hoover Family is going through.
Paul and Elaine have given so much of themselves to the congregation and to friends when they were in need. Now it is their turn to receive our love. Please help. What ever can be donated will be greatly appreciated. Every little bit counts.
