Emergency Assistance

My wife and I have been unemployed since December of 2013.  We both recently obtained employment beginning July 22, 2014.  Our problem lies in the fact that our savings ran out and we are behind on our rent.  Additionally, our jobs pay us minimum wage while in training which worked out to a $200 check for four days of work so far. We have asked the complex where we live to work with us and for the most part they have.  Now however, being two months behind, we must pay our July rent as well as August rent that is due now to avoid being homeless.  We have attempted to receive assistance from safety net organizations but to no avail.  There are so many families in need, there aren't enough funds to cover them all.  We will be fine moving forward as we now have employment to cover our expenses.  The problem lies in making it to that point.

To add pressure to the situation, both myself and my wife work from home which means that if we lose our place of residence, we will lose our jobs as well.  What that does is put us in the position of losing everything we have worked for the past nine years we've been together, in addition to putting our family of five out on the street (we relocated to Texas from Indiana and have no family in this area).

We pray that someone will find it in their hearts to help us in this, our time of need.  We would be very much appreciative.
