Unity & Pride Basketball Tournament

***Thanks for everyones interests in this Unity & Pride Youth Basketball Tournament.***
This event is being put together and organized by a few good men. Our goal is to have this Unity & Pride Youth Basketball Tournament on August 21, held at the Beaver Park in Framingham. We have not started the sign up's for the basketball teams yet, but we are looking for kids in the age range of 10 - 15 years old. We are looking to have about 4/6 teams, with only about 7 kids per a team. We will have coachs that will pick kids for their team like a lottery, so that no one is coming to the court with a stacked pre made team. The tournamnet will commence and the winning team will be awarded with a cash prize to split amongst the playing members.
During this event there will be a grill with free food. There will also be a DJ setup with a few DJ's playing live music. (DJ's TBA) So bring your family out, and even if your kids dont get to play, come out to support and enjoy the day.
This event has needed appoval from the Town of Framingham and we have just gotten the approval. But with that said there have been a lot of hurdles that we have had to climb over. So with that said, we are required to hire a police detail. We are required to hire Framingham Park & Rec, maintenance staff for the park lights, porta potties, and trash disposal. We also have food expences, and lastly the cash reward to the kids playing. So we are looking for donations. Any donation large or small will help. This is non profit event, so all donations go directly back into this event.
