Protect Las Piedras

I am heading to the Peruvian Amazon to volunteer for an organization called ARC Amazon. The region called Las Piedras is one of the most bio-diverse places on Earth and its in danger of being consumed by global warming and deforestation. From June to August I am volunteering to put into practice what I preach - to build structures that can support staff and visitors by using regenerative design techniques, local materials, regional craftsmanship and innovative design strategies. The goal is to build "living" structures that do not impede upon or disrupt the delicate balance of the Las Piedras jungle and bring awareness to this urgent need to be honest stewards of our planet.
