Quarter Barrel Hamilton

Quarter Barrel Brewery + Pub opened in October 2010 just slightly off of the beaten path in uptown Oxford. Since then, we have been serving quality interpretations of classic dishes and new, innovative beers to Miami students, their parents, and our home town. Now Quarter Barrel has landed a premiere location in Hamilton, and the oldest brewpub in Butler County will take its place in the county seat.
Located at Main and B streets, QB Hamilton is located in a re-purposed goods store that has overlooked its corner by the Main Street bridge for over a century. The multi-level restaurant offers the choice to observe passers-by in the glass-wrapped microbrewery on the 1st floor, or watch the art of cooking from the chef's dining table in the upstairs kitchen. Weather permitting, a rooftop patio offers all of the same service with views of downtown, the Great Miami River, and the Spooky Nook Sports Complex at Champion Mills.
If you've never opened a restaurant before, then allow us to applaud your life choices. It isn't cheap. A brewpub, even less so. Taken as a whole, including the build-out and property, the capital outlay for this project is over a million dollars. We are seeking to crowd fund under four percent of the total budget, or about forty thousand dollars.
Crowd funding is like your cousin asking to borrow money that you both know you'll never see again. But we sincerely reject the idea of asking for something for nothing. So we are offering several considerations in return for your generous donation. This way we all ultimately come away with something: the best restaurant and brewpub in Butler County.
Here's how it works. For each tier of funding, we are offering a new item. Each subsequent tier gets a different item plus the items offered at the lower tier, until finally the top tier gets a privately catered, eight course dinner for four at the chef's table plus all the considerations of the lower tiers.
Not all items are one offs, though. The Investor Dinner is a recurring annual event featuring four courses served family style, each paired with a different style of beer, and catered in a privately reserved restaurant filled with other like-minded investors. Donors at the five hundred dollar level or more will also receive the distinction of their name on a commemorative plaque to be displayed in the Chef's Table dining room. Here's a table of investor tiers and the corresponding considerations:
Feel free to buy one tier for yourself and get another as a gift for someone else. Then encourage them to buy another one! This crowd funding campaign will help us open our doors in Hamilton all the sooner, and that's good news for our menus and beer selection in Oxford, as well. For our full menu and photos of swag, please visit us at qbbrewery.pub . Thank you for supporting the Quarter Barrel Hamilton expansion!
