Lara (Quentin’s Mom) especially enjoyed listening to the students stories about Quentin.   The funny stories added a ray of light in our darkness.

Quentin Espinoza passed away on November 12, 2017 at the young age of 14.  Quentin was full of life, always happy to make others laugh and smile.  His heart was a rare find, with the amount of love he was able to share with the ones he cared for.  It never mattered to him how old, young, wealthly, poor or unhappy someone may have seemed on the surface, he was always willing to open up the book and dive in, with his heart wide open.  Quentin enjoyed to fish, and fish some more, ride dirt bikes, play with his friends and most of all he adored his pets.  He surely  never lacked in giving his big smiling grins, as he'd call your name.
At this point we do not have all the details, but we do know that the severity of Quentins saddness while he was not in the family unit was greater and deeper than ever imagined.  On Sunday, November 12th Quentin took his own life, lost in his pain. The family continues to dig into why a smart, loving, generous 14 year old that hardly began to live, would find something so painful to take his own life.
With these funds it will help preserve Quentin's memory, and to hopefully raise awareness in order to help prevent a tragedy from happinging to another child.
Quentin is surived by; Mother Lara Furko, Step Father Ethan Vasher, Brothers Mateo, Braydun Sisters Aurora, Jada.
The family is extremely greatful to those who provided Quentin with love, while they were blessed to have him in their lives.
Thank you Quentin, for sharing your heart with us.

I printed out all of the kind words from everyone's post, so Quentin's Mother could receive your support.
Lara (Quentin's Mom) has given me permission to post the following on her behalf:
"Reading all the prayers and kind words have been truly appreciated as I've found some comfort in knowing that my son was loved by many."

It has been a struggle for me to to hold my eyes open and not look away from a mothers suffering, and the truth of why. Today I feel my eyes witnessed a moment of relief, as she read all of the supportive kind post. I believe this provided Lara with hope, after reading the unkind words from other children that Quentin had received on the internet.
So please except my gratitude, for the breath of fresh air to keep marching for Quentin's Mom, Dad, Brothers and Sisters. I know I cannot convey to all of you how appreciative I am, for being witness even if just for a moment, to the relief that a mother found. As a mother I cannot image the grief Lara is experiencing from moment to moment.

Arrangements for services will be posted tomorrow. The family has chosen to hold a public service for Quentin's friends and school mates. A private viewing and service will be held for the family of Quentin in addition to.

Thank you,
