Update: Dad is pissed off at me for even considering getting anything fixed. He dosen't believe it's a real thing. He dosen't want anything to be fixed. He thinks I'm lying. He dosen't want any more holes in his house even if it's to fix something that could be deadly. This may change to a gofundme for me to move out or purchase an RV. -_____-

Over the years there has been a lot of sickness in our house. Cancers have taken many pets, and now my mother. She had small sell cancer, which usually starts in the lungs. It didn't start in her lungs, it started in her lymph nodes, and nobody could understand why she got it or what caused it.
Well, I had suspected that there was something wrong with the house. After quite a few different tests, one result finally came back positive... Very positive. Radon.
Our radon levels sit at around 11.3 Pci.
At 4 Pci, they require getting your problem remediated.
We're over double that amount.
It is quite dangerous to our health.
Unfortunately we have nowhere else to go, and have to get this issue fixed, and the sooner the better.
My father owns the house, and is retired. I help out where I can, but we both make very limited income. I know he can't pay the price that remediation will cost, so I'm setting up this page to try to get some help.
I can't lose him to this too.
Update: As it turns out, our house is very difficult to install a remediation system in, because of the layout and the finished part of the basement. There are complication costs as well as the fact that they will have to rip out some drywall to get the pipe through. (In my living space ceiling) and that will also have to be replaced when they are finished.
I'm afraid I won't be able to offer anything in return for your donations, aside from my, and my father's gratitude. <3
