Help the Ramirez Family Power UP in Puerto Rico!
Puerto Rico has been decimated. And although family members and residents are grateful for the efforts of many, groups such as FEMA and others are stretched and doing the best that they can.
Even so, power is not expected to be restored for months.
Not hours.
Not weeks or days.
Months.
That's why we, as a family, are asking for help for our family. We need to purchase a power generator for the Ramirez family struggling in PR with no power or water. Even though shipping to the island is limited, we want to be ready for when the island is once again open to receive shipments from family members.
These are actual images from their street.
Everything in their home has been destroyed.
I know that we are not the only ones with relatives there. But our cousin has asked for something specific and this is one thing we know now we can take action on within our circle of influence. The generator that we are raising money for will power not just his immediate family, but his extended family and friends as well. They have lost everything. So if we raise more, we feel certain beyond a shadow of any doubt that they will put it to good use in helping those around them and perhaps even replace some of the items lost. They live in very close proximity to each other so sharing will be easy.
About Edwin Ramirez
A veteran and a hero.
Edwin Ramirez (far left) served in both Iraq and Afghanistan in the U.S. Army. His father (Uncle Frank) was like a 2nd dad to me. They took me in during my parent's tumultuous divorce and I am forever in their debt.
If you can't give...share.
Share this campaign with those in your circle of influence and social media.
For those who give a gift of $20 or more, I will gladly give you a digital library of all of my books.
Thank so very much from our family to yours!
