In honor of Reynaldo Morante
Donation protected
Reynaldo Morante is an amazing father, brother, uncle, and friend. My father has worked for MUNI for 25 years. His dream was to drive the Cable Cars because he wanted to take part in the history of San Francisco. He was able to live his dream for a few months. On June 11, 2015 at 10:27 pm, my father was hit by a drunk driver. He was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital and was treated for Traumatic Brain Injury. The right part of his skull was fractured and was removed for his brain to swell. He fought valiantly for 7 months, but on January 12, 2016, he passed.
He is a man that brightens the room with his presence and smile. He was known for being hardworking, selfless, and humble. These are just a few of his many traits that drew others to him. He knew how to make someone feel special and was able to put a smile on their face. His attitude was always positive and he encouraged others to do their best.
We want to commemorate Reynaldo Abraham V. Morante with a funeral that he deserves; one that shows how much we love and appreciate his life. Rey always put others before himself and never expected anything back. We need your help to celebrate him in a meaningful way.
Thank you all for the support you have shown. We appreciate you being there every step of the way. We want to have his funeral as soon as possible and any donation will help. Thanks again.
Love,
The Morante Family.
