Native Athlete Robert Iron Shell

Dear Friends and Family ....please help us raise funds for our sons' travel expenses and for a few family members to travel to Gulf Shore, Alabama in May 2015 to support native athlete  Robert Iron Shell  at the NAIA outdoor event where he will compete in multiple events. Robert is a stellar athlete, a huge inspiration to young Native athletes every where, Robert has proven that hard work and determination absolutely does pay off no matter what race or gender you are.
Robert is an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and has been running track since 8th grade in Lemars, Iowa .  One day Robert  was approached by one of the track coaches when he was not having a good day at school, Coach asks Robert  to show him what he enjoys doing,  so jeans, backpack and all Robert jumps on the track and takes off. From that point on Robert had excelled greatly throughout his high school career , breaking multiple records and closing out his high school career with a state champion win, track captain and MVP. Robert is currently a sophomore at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa where he is majoring in Physical Therapy and plans to work for Indian Health Services after graduation. While at Briar Cliff , Robert has and continues to break multiple track and event records. This May will be his 4th time at the NAIA event. I would love to be there to support my son as I have been able to be at 90% of all his events !! Your help whether it be $1 or $ 100 or even a share of this post to people that could donate will help us get there and also help with Roberts' personal expenses.
