Rodger Thompson Memorial

Donation protected
Rodger Thompson of  Condon Montana, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on April 18th, 2018.  Rodger was an entrepreneur, having owned many various businesses, one being a world renowned  violin shop for many years in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Rodger’s heart was always drawn to the majestic mountains of Montana where he lived for many years enjoying his passion of hunting, horses, guitar playing, canoeing, and enjoying God’s amazing creation all around him.

Rodger was a Marine for six years active duty.  He was a Long Range National Champion High Power Rifle Master.

Rodger is survived by the love of his life, Katie Wright, his daughter Donna Baldinell,  grand-daughter Isabel Baldinell, son Rod Thompson, and grand-daughter Emma Thompson.

Rodger never knew a stranger and touched the lives of all those who knew him.  He will be greatly missed!

A memorial and celebration of Rodger’s life will be held in June. More information will be announced at a later date.

===================================================

Because Katie lives far from town and has a P.O. box, it is impractical to send flowers, so we (family) thought this would be an easy way for friends and loved ones to express their sympathy and send gifts of love in this time of grief.  Any funds will be used to help cover expenses and purchase a memorial in Rodger's name.

Rodger touched so many lives during his life.  We are thankful for him showing us love and teaching us how to love!

More importantly than gifts, Rodger had strong faith in God and would have wanted each of us to pray for Katie.

Thank you and may God bless you!
