For those of you who know Sabine Russo, you already know what a positive and optimistic person she is.  I know this, because I've had the pleasure to share years of friendship with Sabine, as well as years of carpooling our kids to school, swim practices, and birthday parties.  I've been lucky to get to know the whole family and see first hand what great kids Kelly, Chris, and Mark  are - and how much they were loved by their Dad, Tom Russo.

Tom was hospitalized on June 24, 2016, following a severe accident. During the sixty-two days that he remained in Evanston Hospital, he fought valiantly and there was hope for his recovery.  However, on August 25, 2016, he lost his battle and died peacefully.   

As Sabine, family, and friends are grieving Tom’s passing, Sabine now has to contend with unexpected medical bills not covered by insurance, as well as the costs associated with children in college.

We are hoping to find some relief for her as she’s dealing with this sad and difficult time - all while faced with a new level of responsibility to provide financially for her kids.

The support for the Russos has been incredible and we are hoping that this GoFundMe account is another way for friends, family and others to show their love and support for Sabine and the kids. No donation is too small. Together we can provide tremendous relief for this family.
