Help Us Teach SE to the SSA

The Secular Student Alliance (SSA) has invited interlocutor-turned-SE-er Dan to give a workshop on Street Epistemology at their upcoming national conference in Ohio at the end of June 2018.

This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce and teach SE to the hundreds of college students who lead their local SSA chapters. These students can then take their newfound understanding SE back to their respective SSA groups and share the technique with them, which should translate into more effective talks with the others at the school.

For those who are unaware, Dan (aka "ObjectivelyDan" online) was introduced to SE when he encountered Anthony Magnabosco at his university back in 2015, begin to explore his beliefs, and has become a proponent of the method. Dan assisted Anthony with two SE Workshops in the past, is scheduled to attend an SE Workshop training session at the end of this week, and is the ideal person to conduct a training session to this particular group of people.

Your contribution will cover the $300 needed to reserve a table so that SE-familiar volunteers can answer questions about the method, and the balance will be used to purchase SE-themed merchandise (e.g., t-shirts, magnets, stickers, etc.) to hand out at the table and cover shipping of the materials to (and if necessary, from) the event.

The more contributions we receive, the more SE-themed schwag we can hand out the students, and increase exposure of this method to universities across the United States of America.

Excess donations will be used to fund future SE tabling efforts, so your contribution will be put to its fullest potential.  A percentage of our purchase the SE-themed items (you can view these at tinyurl.com/buySEstuff) will be directed to the new formal organization we are creating for SE.
