What is PROJECT DONGO?
Project Dongo is a mission to improve the lives of people in the Dongo community by building a school and a health centre. Currently, because of neglect from the government, the people and community of Dongo continue to suffer in poverty.
How will ‘PROJECT DONGO’ benefit the People and Island of Dongo?
Our mission is to build schools and make available health centres focused on the well-being and development of children in Dongo. As is the testament in the video above, the availability of a school will give the children of Dongo a school that is close by and safe to travel to. The school will also mean the children are able to learn to read, write and develop for themselves a promising future.
Where is Dongo?
Dongo is an island isolated between Epe and Ibeju Lekki in Lagos Nigeria.

Who is Shalom Link Mission?
Shalom Link Mission (SLM) is a Christian Non-Governmental Organisation dedicated to improving the health, education, and human welfare of all people – from children to adults – all around the world.
We are of the firm belief that ‘Talk is cheap, action creates change’ and we are always working to bring forth change in all the things we do.
Shalom Link Mission also exists to advance the Kingdom of God through the good and support we provide to communities.
The ministry was birth in October of 2004 but was registered in 2015 by CEO and Founder Modupe Grace Akinyemi.
So far, we have been able to send seven children to school by means of a scholarship.
