Miss Universe for Sam Seadon
My name is Hannah Simard, and I am raising money for a girl local to my hometown (Wawa, Ontario), who is currently suffering from both brain cancer and neurofibromatosis type one. Samantha Seadon is a Michipicoten Highschool student who just recently moved to Winnipeg where she can more easily pursue appropriate treatment for her condition. Still only a teen, she has been bravely dealing with related medical issues for many years of her life.
Originally, my philanthropic project for Miss Universe Canada was to raise money for an organization called Operation Smile. However, the president of Miss Universe Canada has graciously allowed me to shift focuses, and raise money and awareness for Sam's battle instead. This is an extremely meaningful opportunity to me. The more money and awareness that we can raise for Samantha Seadon, the better for her family. We all know how difficult a time like this can be both emotionally and financially on the family. If you are able to donate to Samantha through me, the donation will count as a part of my philanthropic project for Miss Universe Canada. This will aid me in my attempt to win Miss Universe Canada as a representative of the Wawa area.
On behalf of Sam and myself, thanks for your support!
