Brandon and Heather here – we’re happy to report we’ve officially won the baby lottery! This fall, sometime during November, we’ll be the very proud new parents of three, yes THREE little bundles of joy. Two little boys and a girl will be joining the family, and as you can imagine, we’re just as excited as we are nervous.

I, Brandon, am a full time Union firefighter in the suburbs of Chicago and my wife, Heather, works as a bartender at a sports bar  the majority of the week. We already have a little boy, who is anxiousy awaiting his brothers and sisters arrival – though we tell him it will be a while before they can play together.

When the babies arrive, my wife will be on bed rest in the hospital for up to a month. During this time and a bit more, we’ll be down to just one income (my own) and we have been warned about immediate upcoming medical costs.

Already being parents, we know there’s little we can do but prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Our family will be there to support us emotionally when the big day comes, and we know our friends will be there along side us for the trials ahead. But beyond that, as parents, we know one of the biggest challenges is going to be funding this Trio in the recent future (hospital costs) and down the road (daycare and schooling). So that’s where you; our family, our friends, our friends-of-friends – can hopefully help us out.

We’re looking at a lot of medical costs, lots of diapers and with 3 newborns we know we’re going to need the help of a nanny – alongside the already pledged help of friends and family. Any help that gets us past that point, will go towards day care (when things settle down) and schooling (so they can eventually become geniuses and pay us back…)

As a father, I was resistant to the idea of asking for donations. I'll be taking on a second part-time job as many parents these days do. But as blessed as Heather and I feel with Three healthy babies on the way – I know we’re a bit in over our heads and I know there's only so much we can do by ourselves. Thank you in advance for any donations, even though I feel helpless in knowing that I may never be able to repay you. But you’re welcome to come see what your donation has created in the smiles and the laughter of my children.

Thank you for listening to our story.

Sincerely,
Brandon & Heather
