What is the Scooter Scott Project (SSP)?

SSP is a faith based, 501-C(3) organization that strives to provide a Christ-like response to its neighbors and help the "least among us" help themselves. SSP’s initiatives, all staffed by volunteers, include an after school program, General Equivalency Diploma program and various community outreach. The organization is able to serve others because of individuals, businesses, churches, schools, organizations, municipalities and other agencies that voluntarily give of their time, items, and finances.

 What is Leadership Lexington County (LLC)?

LLC is a non-profit educational organization that offers a stimulating program to develop leaders in our community. Our program incorporates hands on learning opportunities that inform participants of the resources and challenges in our region and promotes community action. LLC builds a network of local leaders, helps them realize their leadership skills and facilitates involvement in many areas of the County.

How will your project help SSP?

The LLC Class of 2018 is raising funds to help SSP purchase:

-A new bus compliant with Jacob’s Law 
-12 laptop computers to assist Lexington County adults working toward their GED 

37 of Lexington County's current and future leaders are putting their time, effort and money into the mission for the Scooter Scott Project. Your support will have a direct impact of residents of Lexington County.
