Semester at Goucher College

In my senior year of high school, I found the college of my dreams. I applied and did everything I could for financial aid. I was accepted into Goucher in 2013 and was to play Field Hockey for the school. As my first year was finishing up, I decided to declare as a Theatre major. I realized just how big my passion was after some amazing years of working, acting, and winning awards in my high school theatre. Now my major is set and I have made so very many incredible relationships within the community.

Unfortunately, things did not turn out as planned. My parents turned in their part of the FAFSA and the CSS Profile in extremely late and so I lost about $3,000 in financial aid. I have the maximum amount of student loans and scholarships I can get this semester and my parents are not helping me pay for my schooling. I now come to you seeking any and all help to keep me in the school of my dreams with the people I love. [I need a small portion of the funds to move in to my room at the beginning of the semester, so every little bit counts!] Thanks to support from all of you and other sources, I have secured funds to attend this semester. I am continuing my search for finances to secure next semester and applying for scholarships to secure next year. Thank you all again for your love and support!
