Send Petra Glynt Back on Tour

Donation protected
Alexandra Mackenzie here, aka Petra Glynt. I took off to the UK on October 29th to begin a European tour as support for Doldrums as well as play drums in his band but was refused entry.  I was detained for 51 hours beteween the dentention room at the Gatwick airport and the Colnbrook Immigration Removal Centre. I was told that it was "not a prison," but it was in fact a detention centre for long and short term holdings- most specifically for those who wish to immigrate or those seeking asylum. Aside from this being a dehumanizing and overall unexpected and eye-opening experience, I still wish to continue my tour. It is very important to me, and I don't want this incident to prevent  me from doing what I love.

I wouldn't normally turn to public support but I feel these are extenuating circumstances. I would be so grateful for your help.

The total cost of a last-minute, one way ticket to Zurich is $1702.06 and I am adding $100.00 to refund my partner Mitchell Stafiej for booking my flight from Toronto home to Montreal on Oct. 31st for a total of $1802.06.

Nov 3rd - Zurich @ Rote Fabrik
Nov 4th – Vienna @ Fluc
