Service Dog for Jessica
Donation protected
I have already reached the goal of $1800.00 to get the puppy. I raised the limit in order to raise funds for
Vet bills, training tools, ect. If you would like to help with the care of the service dog in training that would be great. These things are very costly so any help would be great.
We are now waiting for ultrasound verification of puppies on the way. That will take place around 01/13/2018.
Please read my story below.
Hello, My name is Jessica and I have MS (multipal sclerosis). This is one of the #1 causes of disability in young adults. My immune system attacks my Central nervous system (Brain and spinal cord). I also was told that there is a possibility that I have Crohn's along with MS.Due to this I have trouble doing everyday things. I was diagnosed 9 years ago after becoming blind in the left eye with MS. I have trouble with many everyday activitives. I have been in a wheelchair twice and I still use it when going anywhere that requires a lot of walking due to the spasms and weakness in my legs.
List of thing I deal with daily
Spasms, Tremors, Bladder issues, Bowl issues, Cognitive fuction problems, speech, balance, sight problems, nerve pain, and fatigue just to name some.
There are so many things that effect my life with this desease that I would be writting a book if I listed them all. I have to go for IV Infusion once a month on top of the meds to try to manage my current symtoms. I am looking to get a pup to train as my service dog. I have a dog that I was training but he has injuried his leg and will not be able to proform his job any longer. He will remain a pet that I love dearly. I hate asking for help but also understand my need for it. No one ever thinks that they will end up with a life changing illness. You never know how much you miss doing daily things until it becomes difficult to do on your own. I will be forever greatful to those that help.
If you can't help with funds that is ok. Please share to show your support.
