Ms. Stella's Memorial Fundraiser

As many of you all know by now, my mother fought a big battle with cancer. She fought hard for five years! Her little 4'9" stood up to cancer for all those years and was able to beat it not once, but twice. It came back with a vengeance in January 2017.  However, she was tired and no longer wanted to put up a fight. She lost her battle on June 1, 2017. 

She wasn’t just a mother to my brother and me, she was a mentor, a true friend to many, and to others, she was known as Momma Stella. She was always willing to lend a hand without any hesitation. Even though she was fighting her battle, that didn’t stop her from helping others that were in need. Her grandchildren were everything to her; it was her life! She always went above and beyond for friends, family members, my brother and his family, and my family. She always thought about everyone else before herself. That's who she was. 

Many friends and family have asked how can they contribute. I understand that some are not able to make it to her memorial service this Friday, June 9th. So it has prompted me to start this campaign. All proceeds will go towards the cost of the services and medical bills. Any amount given will be greatly appreciated.

I will forever be grateful to have her as my mom for 39 years!
