Fight With Nora!
Donation protected

She will avoid paralysis, but there is no good outcome for the cancer that is causing the bones to break. Her living situation in a basement room is not viable and we have worked with social services and found a living situation in which she can be comfortable in the time remaining to her.
Unfortunately her income from social security and long-term disability is not enough to cover the expense of a subsidized assisted living situation that includes care and meals, so we will be asking for contributions to help her achieve this. The numbers are neither clear nor exact at this moment but we do not expect it to be less than $750 per month for the next few months. We are asking for lump sum or monthly contributions (no gift too small) and other non-monetary contributions like giving her rides and just visiting.
I am amazed every day at the courage with which Nora is facing the inevitable, and I hope that we can all do a little bit to help make her journey as peaceful as it may be.
