In June 2017, the Team Canada Women's Tackle Football Team will be participating in IFAF World Championship. Of the 45 women chosen across Canada, we were chosen as the four Manitobans to represent our country and we would love to be a part of this experience!
A little about us..
Christine O'Donnell Defensive Tackle
Christine will be representing Canada at the Women's World Championship for the third time! Following the 2010 inaugral games, and the 2013 games in Finland Christine remains one of the core players of Team Canada.

Breanne Ward Defensive Tackle
Following her fifth season in the WWCFL, and representing Manitoba at Nationals in 2012, Breanne will be competing at her first Women's World Championship!

Mubo Ilelaboye Defensive End
After an extensive career in the CIS with the University of Manitoba Bison Basketball team, Mubo will be joining the national team following her rookie season with the Wolfpack in the WWCFL!

Allyssa Buckland Linebacker
A veteran to football for almost 18 years, Allyssa will be representing her country on the national level for the first time!

Now that we have reached this goal of making Team Canada 2017, there are costs that come with competing. As players of Team Canada we are left to fund all expenses for travel, stay and fees during the trip. Although we are working and saving money ourselves, we will not be able to pay for the full costs to travel and participate. Each player is required to pay $1800 to cover the base costs of the trip separate from any money spent while there.
Please help us fund our dream of representing our country this summer! We are grateful for any help, and thank you even if you are unable to. Any money raised makes a huge difference and all shares will help as well!
