Based in Washington, DC, Team Takeover is the nation's premier youth basketball organization, and we're the Team Takeover 10U Girls National Team--a group of 12 dedicated, hard-working and determined young ladies! We are fundraising for our 2014 season, which includes eight tournaments, culminating with a trip to the AAU Basketball National Championship in July in Kissimmee, Florida.
Our fundraising goal is $10,000.00, which will help cover the cost of the team's fees, practice facilities, tournament registration costs and travel expenses. We would greatly appreciate a small donation to help reach our target goal. Many of our girls have been playing for years, and have been successful in league and tournament play, both locally and nationally.
The girls have not only excelled on the basketball court, but they also excel in the classroom, as well. Our coaches and parents stress education, discipline and hard work in order to achieve success, both on and off the basketball court. (Or, as Coach Reggie Walker tells the girls during practice: "We do today what others won't, so tomorrow we can do what others can't!")
Please help us continue to provide valuable experiences and true life lessons for this group of fine young ladies. With your donation, we will move a little closer to our goal of winning the National Championship.
