My name is Tree. I am raising money to create the iTreeware Tech Cafe'. a campus that fosters community and innovation on a small, cozy scale. The campus could be at the corner of Rt 72/ Randall Rd where traffic is 4,000 cars/ hr. With proper build out this location could support heavy foot-traffic while supporting the preservation of 150 year old homesteader buildings that are slated for demolition this year. The demographic of the area supports profitability with abundance, youth of all ages, a township invested in healthy programs for the young and older & family-centric values. Schweitzer woods down the street is donated from the same family. Together these properties preserve a period in time gone by.

On a personal note. In my local community, I interact with brilliant youth from our Fox Valley community. I have grown to see that we have an opportunity on our hands. Dear Neighbors: We are sitting on a trifecta- we have science-minded talent, a "family oriented community" invested in the next generation & a country that needs innovative minds and new ideas to propel forward.

iTreeware believes the USA already has what it needs to make big discoveries. The elements in the formula can be reorganized. We are crowdfunding to raise funds to create a prototype Tech Cafe' that brings high-technology to a suburban community with real business challenges, human interaction and we can accomplish new things. We can work together. The iTreeware Tech Cafe' Campus aims to inspire, equip, and connect our science-talented citizens to local business success stories while giving the older, wiser crowd to season it with wisdom. The cafe' serves mediterranean, vegan, green, alive! food, featuring smoothies & the "magic bullet" bar.

iTreeware TechEd encourages knowledge seekers to take classes to learn state of the art coding skills in the studio.

iTreeware Events hosts fashion forward networking opportunities to attract hi-tech business profesionals, local business owners & young adults. This includes meetups, workshops, business forumn gatherings. Targeted events will use the runway and include amateur models, hi-fashion, music, local talent & lighting.

iTreeware Culture invites fellow geeks to knowlege share in the process of building solutions for the mobile marketplace.

The campus has 4 sections within an open floor plan. Space feels like a glass & timber cube with strong zen/ 10,000 waves vibe.

The CAFE' is wi-fi enabled with the fastest wi-fi in the area (faster than Starbucks!). Food is Mediterranean w/ delicious vegan offerings- like: Native Foods, Naf Naf, Nef. All marketing encourages innovative minds & business mogels to JOIN US and plug in @ the iTreeware TechCafe'. Eating spaces accomodate long-term work. Customers linger to solve challenges together. Challenges are available as a geo-cache experience when customers enter the iTreeware Technology Campus. This drives natural engagement.

The GIFT SHOP is the entryway to the campus with a splash of refreshing green energy when you walk in the door, fresh flowers, zen/ 10,000 waves vibe, trinkets, earthy unique gifts, natural materials, dried flower arrangements, plants. Chair massages are an option.

The STUDIO is a multi-purpose space that is highly adaptable. It is used for BYOL technical training, team building workshops, healthy body training (yogo, pilates, zumba, cardio), larger scale runway events.

The DEV HUB is the office space for The iTreeware Group company work area. iTreeware builds mobile solutions for distinguishing clients out of this location. The adjoining wall is glass.

Where is the money going to be used?

@Building: two options #1: there is a location available in Algonquin, IL (old 'Dania' bldg, across from Algonquin Commons). #2: buy land & build. Rough sketches for the iTreeware Tech Campus location are available on request.

@Talent: salaries for professional, skilled, talent. The iTreeware team; real estate, general contractor, legal, accounting, marketing, office manager, sales, software engineer/ consultants, partner, events planner, shop + cafe' manager [deli franchise plug-in + organic coffee/ tea cafe' options could exist].

@Materials: print copy, cards, office supplies, furniture

@Advertising: local. target youth ages 12-24. target business owners, decision makers.

/who I am /

I am a nerd, team builder & educator with quite a bit of 'TechMuscle'. My technical credentials span over 25 years in the technology space. At present I am a software engineer capable of creating responsive web apps, mobile apps, back-end web services, adminitration of app server, provisioning & more!

I am completely invested in the next generation. I aim to empower them & scaffold America's best & brightest to SUCCEED in the global marketplace of innovation.

To mention a few ways I engage with youth today:

#1.) Created a free, open-source Inspirational workshop for students in grades 3-12, called "Innovation in Me". blog | facebook

#2.) Contributed to an educational effort born out of an Urban Sustainability hackathon in Chicago, 2013. At this hack-a-thon I met with 7 other people and we formed "PlanetLAB "- winning 3rd place, then advancing to the 'next round' and winning 1st place. PlanetLAB is an edTech web app for STEM eduction, in which, hands-on projects are gathered into a fun, engaging, easily searched, geoLocation based resource that matches finds nearby hand-on STEM programs to deepen curiosity and facilitate deep understanding. Stay tuned! PlanetLAB been funded by the National Science Foundation!

#3.) Invested 5 years teaching high school Technology class at college-prep Harvest Christian Academy

/MY PASSION /

I feel strongly that this Tech Campus vision has been entrusted to me. The concept is reproducable across America. There is no strain, the details are in my mind- like they have been handed to me completed. I am an artist with Technology, TeamBuilding, Organization, Education talents. I am acting on the burden of this vision because I believe there is a real opportunity to fortify our community for generations to come. For me, personally, this is about taking action on a vision & giving back to the country I love- America. I have the schematic for the building in my mind.
