Our family barely escaped alive. The fiery blaze ashed all of our belongings, but God's grace spared our lives.
Everything lost in deadly fire. Two low income Americans with chronic disabilities occupied residence. My beloved mom is being closely monitored by her PCP due to life threatening health complications; the surmountable stress caused by this devastating apartment fire has made matters far worse.
She is one of the first people to rush to help when others are in crisis, and now it's time for us to return the favor. To All that we have the pleasure to know PLEASE do what you can to Help Us. No amount is too small to be grateful for.
She's the type of person that even when she's helpLESS she's trying to look for ways to be helpFUL. She with extremely limited financial resources gives her best of what little she has to help the needy. She's known for random acts of kindness; from doing everything humanly possible to help her dearest friend at the time that she battled Stage 4 breast cancer when she had no one else on who she could depend, anonymously paying for meals for unsuspecting diners, passing out NEW blankets to the homeless during record low cold temps, offering cold beverages to people down on their luck as they wait in the Salvation Army shelter line for a bed, donating flowers for gravesites to people that have lost a loved one, shares love with strangers offering encouragement and words of wisdom to discouraged men & women, enjoys festive outdoor decorating as her way of spreading holiday joy throughout the community, takes great pleasure in buying and giving gifts to less fortunate children of single parents, she has devoted her life to caring for her mentally impaired child, there is nothing this woman won't do to help others, her life's motto is "Give, and it will Be Given to You"
She is not a borrower. She's A Lender! She is not a taker. She's A Giver! She never complains. She accepts the things she cannot change.
Family was wakened out of sleep raced outside in sleepwear trembling with fright as roof was engulfed in flames. Building is charred from inside out. Lost all home furnishings, food, medications, clothing, eye glasses, bedding, cookware, keepsakes, electronics, money, shoes; Everything gone up in smoke. This is devastating! We're extremely grateful to have just barely escaped alive.
We're Homeless, but Tampa is our family, our community, our birthplace, our Home.
We owe tremendous gratitude to Florida's most heroic, the Best first responders in the Nation!
Anything that you are compassionately compelled to do to assist us in reestablishing our lives in a place to call home would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we do not have any renter's insurance and as such is completely at the mercy of the kindness of our community to help us to rebuild our lives, purchase new belongings, and find a new place to live.
We are desperately in need of donations. The Red Cross help with emergency shelter is limited to 3 days.
**We are grateful for any assistance to help with our immediate needs and expenses; for temporary extended stay lodging rates, meals, fees to replace credentials, medical supplies, eye glasses, personal items, undergarments and toiletries.**
We would very much appreciate having you be a integral part of our comeback story. Please give what you can.
We're most thankful for all your prayers and well wishes.
