The Ardila Family Fund
Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider donating to this beautiful family. In the past two years my cousin Tara has experienced incredible joy with the adoption of her middle three children and blending into one large and happy family of 9. With those joys, she has also endured incredible sorrow as she found herself unexpectedly parenting this family alone. Through it all, her faith in God has remained strong and she has leaned on her family, church family and friends and now we are asking for more support.
On Monday a garage fire engulfed their belongings, including their washer and dryer, refrigerator, all of the children's bikes, sports and work out equipment. They are faced with mounting costs to relocate (moving and deposits). Please read Tara's faith filled message of gratitude below and consider PRAYING, SHARING or donating as you are able. *Just a note that all funds raised will go directly to Tara and her children, however, her Mom Marina Ross will be overseeing the withdrawl process.
"Friends and Family
This is our garage, and our neighbor's home above. No one was hurt, however, the building has now been deemed unsafe and we have to vacate within 72 hours.
Prayers are so needed, requested and appreciated.
On Monday when I came home to this, as I packed clothing and items to go stay with my Mom, I cried in absolute desperation just telling God I cannot take anymore tests and trials and asking 'why'? Why so much in the past two years?
Tonight I was on my knees thanking Him:
*My children and family are safe
*My animals are safe
*We didn't loose 'everything'
*We were not found at fault or negligent
*No one else was injured
*My Dad came and helped us after already repairing my brakes on my car last week
*My Dad Jerry was watching out for us from heaven
*My church family has been so supportive!
*I have an amazing daughter, who watched the younger kids all day Tuesday while I went back to the town home to see what could be salvaged
*I have amazing neighbors who pray for my family constantly, have always been there to help, and who made sure my daughter & the animals were safely out and took my kids into their home while we where there for hours watching the fire be put out and all of the mess.
*I have an amazing mom who is so strong for others and swoops right in to help and will lay down her life to protect her family (who might I add says I was an 'only child' for a reason yet is allowing me to stay at her place with 6 of her grandchildren)
*My firefighting cousin came, got dirty with us and helped us go through the rubble with his amazing wife."
