The Salomons of Halamish
Donation protected
This past weekend's massacre in Halamish is inexplicable, inconceivable, and unacceptable. Sitting around a Shabbat table, celebrating the birth of their grandson, the Salomon family lost three of their own kin (Yosef, 70, Chaya, 46, and Elad, 36, Z"L) to the unyielding, inhuman rage of a Palestinian terrorist. However, this is not a political statement. We, as a unified people, are now left to pick up the pieces. Murdered in cold blood, Elad Salomon, 36, left behind his wife and their 5 children. Though finances may not be at the forefront of their minds today, we must do our best to ensure this is one less uphill battle they must fight.
I am working closely with the OneFamily organization. OneFamily, among other services, offers financial guidance to grieving families of terror.
I hope to close this page within the next two weeks and transfer the funds to the Salomons via OneFamily. You can visit their website at OneFamilyFund.org to get a glance of the meaningful work they do every day.
Please God let the Salomons be comforted among the mourners of Zion, and let us always remember that one Jew's burden falls on all of our shoulders.
Further, peronsal information (required by GoFundMe):
I am an 18 year-old proud Jew from South Florida, and I am currently spending the summer in Milwaukee, WI. I will be traveling to Israel in late August where I will B"H spend 7 months at an army mechina located in a settlement not far from Halamish. I hope to meet the Salomons and extend all of our deepest condolences and most sincere love. Please feel free to add a message with your donation, and I will be sure to pass it along to this beautiful family.
It is absolutely inspiring to see Jews coming together like the loving, conscientious, and unbreakable people we are. May this be the last time a page like this is necessary, and may we always be ready if it is not.
