The Show Must Go On
Hi, I'm Christina and I recently started Full Sail University about six months ago. Before I started attending Full Sail, I went to a community college for two years figuring out what it is that I wanted to do in life. Within those two years, I chose to major in Audio Engineering. I've been yearning for the day when I could attend the school of my dreams. It took me three rough years of working, constantly searching for scholarships, and trying my best to get as much money as I possibly could. It all came to a sudden halt when I had to sign up for loans while both of my parents didn't have the credit needed to qualify. I hoped and prayed, that I would be accepted for the loan under one of my parents. One day my mom told me to go ahead and sign her up for the loan. She then told me that in the event she was not approved, I was to come up with a plan B that involved staying in California to attend a community college. While this option involved settling for a major that wasn't as meaningful to me, I agreed with her and went on with my day. One long month after I applied, I got a call from my student advisor at Full Sail telling me that my mom was accepted for the Parent Plus Loan. I was so excited at this moment because everything in my life pieced together.
