The Wirth Family

On Monday, March 2nd, 40 year old Courtney Wirth was diagnosed with stage 4 malignant stomach cancer that has moved to his lymph system and lungs. Courtney's wife Shannon is currently undergoing a myriad of tests to determine is she also has cancer. The Wirth family have four beautiful children: Rebecca - 11, Sam - 7, Abby - 5 & Veronica - 3. Courtney is beginning chemotherapy this week while Shannon continues to undergo tests.
Courtney and Shannon have dedicated their lives to helping others doing everything from leading scout troops, coordinating fundraisers, volunteering at school & church, and making meals for those in need. Not a day has gone by in the past 10 years where they have not done something to help family, friends and strangers. They are always the first ones to offer to their assistance and say "Yes!" without reservation when asked to share their time, talent and financial resources. Despite having little, they always give in a big way!! They exemplify compassion, generosity & humility.
Courtney may not be able to work in his field of expertise, computer technology, during his treatment. There is a strong possibility that he will be bed bound when not hospitalized. Shannon is a full time mother and volunteer. They are in dire need financially to help them survive this most challenging time in their lives. Please consider giving to the Wirth family so they can feel the love and support that they have given to others for all of their lives.
God bless you all.
