*************************
Tiger is an adorable furry soul that I found at late December. He was a very little kitten, hid under the metal kiosk-shop, trying to escape from the heavy rain a snow. When I brought him home he couldn't walk and I thought he is paralyzed. But thanks to God he was fine, just a little Frozen. Tiger brought nothing but love and joy to my and my mom's lives and I believe to his furry friends as well. He is never fighting with another cats, always very gentle. I found him in Ukraine. When I moved to USA I couldn't leave him and other 10 resqued cats, as they are more then a pets to me, they are my family and has my heart. So you can name it a "miny shelter". I have 10 cats at this moment. Almost all are having some heath issues due to a poor life on a streets.
Tiger is 9 now. We have been together through the happy and bad days.
Tiger has problems with his heart.
A couple of month ago I noticed he started drinking a lot of water. Then he stopped eating and it was a sign something really bad is going on with him. About a month ago Tiger was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure. Veterinarian at Vetclicnic also said he saw some mass under his Kidney and that it can be a cancer. He wanted to do a biopsy to make sure. Since then we went to another clinic and another specialist didn't say anything about mass. But Kidney Failure, Heart murmur was confirmed.
I still would like to double check on the information from the first clinic.
Tiger also having a chronic constipation now which makes his condition more terrible.
In addition to all of that poor Tiger having nausea every day. We have to take Zofran every 8 hours...
We do subcutaneous injections of Lactated Ringer's Soulution every day or every other day + Vitamin B12.
It is many other supplements that Tiger prescribed to be on. He has to be on a special diet and we go with Royal Canin. I like Royal Canin more then Hills because of its better nutritional content. He do not want to eat himself and I feed him through the syringe.
Veterinarian determined Tiger has to stay on a special care all his life which means he need a regular vet visits for tests and medical treatments, as long as ringers solution, medications and supplements.
Recent expenses are already much more greater then 7000$. As was said before I have other furry babies to take care about and this all is drop me out of my budget.
If you can help with any amount - we will be so greatful! Please help to make it possible for Tiger to receive all the supplements, fluids and meds he needs and help him live a full life with a good quality. It is a gift of giving that counts.
To make Tiger feel better we have to do a Dialysis which will help to get rid of all the toxins from his blood.
Dialysis costs about 9000 $ for the first time. Then each treatment costs $800, with an average of three treatments per week.
The cost can vary.
The other option is to do a kidney transplant. I still prefer to go with a dialysis. Syrgery is very risky.
"Studies at several veterinary schools around the country that perform kidney transplants show that around 80% of cats survive for at least six months after surgery, with approximately 65% still being alive three years later." :(
I cant afford this myself. If you can help - PLEASE do! Any amount you can give will get us closer to do what can help Tiger! Sorry for all my cryings, I just can't help myself! This all is so hard on me....
Please share this page on your Facebook and Twitter.
I can't imagine my life without Tiger. I will blame myself if I didn't try everything possible and even impossible to help and save him.
Tiger is more then just a pet to me , he is my baby boy. Thank you for reading all my cryings... and I hope you can help me to save Tiger ❤❤❤
