Diabetic Alert Service Dog for Trey

Donation protected

This is my nephew Trey Jackson and he has Type I diabetes. He was diagnosed over a year ago and has been in and out of the hospital for eyesight problems, siezures, and infections.  Currently he is on an insulin Omni Pod and Doctors try to control his Diabetes as best as they can.  There is not much more they can do for his condition medically other than monitor his blood sugar.  Trey is already on disability for how severe his Diabetes is.  Our family would love to see him recieve a Diabetic Service Dog from the Diabetic Alert Dogs of America program. This companion would be able to alert teachers in the school system and his mom during the night when he has any insulin issues.  His blood sugar is in constant flux and he desperately needs another system to help warn of potential dangers to him.  Our hope is that we can raise this money quickly so that he does not have to continue to miss school or be rushed to the E.R. when his levels become unstable.  Trey is 5 years old, extremely energetic and loving. He needs this dog to help him in his daily activities, but more importantly to potentially save his life.
