Hey Everyone
Im planing a Museum about the Cold War exactly here in my Hometown Schwäbisch Gmünd.Im German but i grew up with Americans and spend most of my Live with them.
With the age of 6 my Dad took me up on the weekends in the Local Training Area near my hometown. Where the US Army had theire Training. From that day on i always spend my time in that area with the Americans who where Stationed in Schwäbisch Gmünd.This town was the home of the Pershing 1A and 2.Bismarck Kasern -Hardt Kasern and the MSA Mutlangen.
Bismarck Kasern Schwäbisch Gmünd
They Grew up as Family to me so after 91 as they left ,it was like my family left me.
That´s when i decided to give them somthing back-So lets start a Museum about the Cold War and for the Soldiers who served here in my Hometown a place to come back with theire familys to see where they spend the time in Service.
But aftermore than 24 years i finaly have the chance.
The City of Schwäbisch Gmünd gave me some rooms for free to get this Museum about the 56th FA and the Soldiers who marked our wonderfull City.
Convoy from MSA Mutlangen !!!
They where a huge part of our history.
The thing is it has to be a" Non Provit Organisation" because i have this rooms for free and cant charge any money for the entry!
I hope you will Support this Museum.
