Turn It Around Project Tour
Donation protected
Our mission is to provide a simplistic approach to a complicated problem: turn it around. In providing positive affirmations for negative thoughts through photographic expression, individuals will be able to gain a newfound sense of self. It is our objective to create awareness, establish community, and garner positivity for the best and worst in us all.
This empowering movement will show individuals across the country that they are not alone in their insecurities and that the solution is as simple as a change in perspective. At photo shoots, participants circle up to talk through their insecurities, and as a unit, the corresponding positive affirmation is born.
Here's where you come in. Due to widespread interest by universities and high schools across the country, the Turn It Around Team is headed on a tour at the end of February to spread the word, adding hundreds to our movement. By going to these schools, we will be able to show them step-by-step how to recreate these events on their own, thereby allowing for additional communities in action. Issue is, we don't have the funds to do it! As college students ourselves, the team requests $1,500 for:
-Materials
-Film
-Travel Expenses
-Photo Paper
-Advertising
-Promotional Items
We can't do this without you! If you want to help inspire change, donate to The Turn It Around Project.
