VFW Post 1177 Remodel and Update

Donation protected
VFW Post 1177 was mustered in 1937 in Loudoun County, VA.  Since that time our members have averaged nearly 1000 hours annually in supporting our local veterans and communities.  Our building was built back in the mid 1950s and hasn't had any updates since it was expanded back in the early 1960's.  For the past few years we have been trying to get our roof replaced which is in very bad shape.  We would also like to get connected to the Town of Leesburg's water and sewer as the well we have been using for the life of the Post has been treated and retreated for several years.

There are many things that we would like to improve on our building but these are the most pressing at the moment.  We do not have a canteen or restaurant like many other VFW Posts around the country and we are a non-smoking Post as well.  We depend solely on the donations that we receive from our members and community.  We have had our prayers answered the last couple of years in hoping that our roof will hold out through the winters but it gets worse with each passing year.

Please help us make our goal of $75,000.  We are the only VFW in all of Loudoun County and we often go outside of the area as well to do whatever needs to be done for our fellow veterans and members of our community.  Don't let the one place in Loudoun where our Veterans know they can go for help disappear.  We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
