Victoria's Stem Cell Journey

Donation protected
One tick nearly destroyed our daughter.
One click can help restore her.

In 2007, Victoria was a healthy teenager, but a tick bite led to undiagnosed Lyme Disease, which she continues to battle daily.

Today, there is an emerging treatment that's the best next step to restoring her health.

We have AMAZING news: If we can raise $33,000 on this site, we have a donor who has pledged to donate the balance of the $53,000 total cost of Victoria's treatment. Your generosity will be almost DOUBLED!!!!

Time is of the essence - full payment to the clinic in Germany is due in mid-March. Please donate now and share Victoria's story with others.  We have been blessed by your prayers and support in so many ways. Faith and prayer have been essential parts of Victoria's journey.  You can see so much more about that at www.victoriawilguess.blogspot.com

Read Victoria's story below for more information.

In 2007, our daughter, Victoria, was a healthy, smart, engergetic student looking forward to a full life.  By 2008 she was beginning to struggle with . . . something. Doctors could not quite put their fingers on the problem although they were putting names to it: Mono, Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, Lupus, etc.  Finally, we discovered Lyme Disease - a despicable infection caused by a tick bite.  Lyme is a great imitator in that it looks like so many other possible diseases and, in its ablitity to mimic, Lyme avoids detection and treatment.

For so many years, Victoria has fought an amazing battle against Lyme and the many other problems which have come up because of chronic Lyme's ability to tear down her body.  It is at the same time a heartbreaking and inspiring reality of pain, stumbling through the maze of medical experts and the realization that we must be our own advocates for our healthcare.

But now, following surgeries, treatments and partial healing, we see a continuing opportunity for a better chance at getting Victoria better!  We believe that Victoria is closer than ever to regaining the life she imagined for herself before the tick bite derailed her life.

Now, a significant change is happening. For the first time, Victoria's doctors are in agreement - Stem Cell Therapy is what she needs next. Though not a 100% cure, as there isn't a cure for Lyme at this time, this treatment gives Victoria the best chance at remission. Through unique treatments in Germany, doctors will extract her own stem cells, select the ideal ones and grow them into millions of new, pure cells.  These will be injected back into her and, along with additional treatments,  aim at repairing her immune system and organ damage, letting her body begin healing from that devastating little bite.

The treatment is expensive  - and not covered by insurance - and requires several weeks spent at the Infusio Clinic in Frankfurt, Germany.  There will also be months of follow-up care to assure that her recovery is on track here in the United States.

She has been sick for so long, will you help - right now - so that Victoria might be better soon?  We can imagine the day, soon, when Victoriais back to living the life she dreamed of as a young woman.  We believe you will find that her faith strengthens you as you come to know her story and come to partner with us in her healing.

We have seen amazing progress for Victoria - this treatment is what her doctors, along with us, think will help give her an opportunity at a healthy life!  Please join her in our fight!
