Wilson's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Wicksie, I am Wilson's sister. My baby brother was in a tragic car accident, and has passed away. He was a good kid, a really good kid. He was really strong, and always goofy; that's probably what I'll miss most about him. He had this ridiculous ear to ear smile that we always loved. He was too young, he had just turned 18 two months ago, but he led an amazing life. He was a wonderful son, a hardworking, caring, kind-hearted guy, and the best best best little brother I could have ever asked for.
Wilson initially suffered severe head trauma causing his brain to swell severely. At first doctors used medications to attempt to bring the swelling down, and for awhile that worked. Until it didn't and he was sent into surgery where some bones were removed to again reduce the pressure due to swelling, and although it helped temporarily his brain pressure increased again. He was sent into a second surgery where a part of his frontal lobe was cut out in attempt to relieve the pressure. He fought very hard and very bravely, but in the end all but his brain stem had lost function. Yet even in this state his body was very strong, his organs kept fighting and fighting and because of this, as a family, we decided to donate his organs once his stem let go. Because that is what he would have wanted, he would have wanted to help save other people if he could because that's just the type of person he was.
Our family doesn't ask for help very often, but his death was too sudden, too unexpected. We had no way to prepare for this and with the medical expenses in attempt to save his life, it is too much for us to handle. So please if you can, please help us give Wilson the best possible funeral he deserves. Anything helps, whether you knew him, loved him, met him once, or maybe didn't know him at all. Anything helps.
Lastly I want to thank everyone who came to see him in his final hours and everyone who sent their blessings and prayers.
