A Doorway to Feed the Hungery
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Billy McClish and I have been active in scouting since I was 9 years old when I joined Cub Scouts. I am also an Arrowman inThe Order or the Arrow. I am now a Life Scout and working towards my Eagle Scout rank. To achieve this I must complete a service project that benefits my community.
My project is to design and install an entryway that is handicap accessible for a non-profit food pantry that is currently not accessible for handicapped individuals. The project includes a sidewalk with retaining walls and landscaping leading to a door that is to be installed into the basement that houses the pantry. The expenses of this project is estimated around $4000-$5000 dollars. Any extra money raised is to be donated directly to the pantry for their use to stock the shelves for their patrons. We are in need of excavating equipment rentals, a person to operate said equipment, concrete work for sidewalk and retaining walls, landscaping supplies, entry door, and any incidentals that we run into. I greatly appreciate any support that is given to this cause.
