A Marriage put To the Test:Emergency Brain Surgery
Donation protected
My name Is Amanda and I have been married to my Husband Chris for 10 years. Life as we knew it took a very sudden and tragic turn on January 8, 2019. Its news a wife never wants to receive. Her husband while doing carpentry for a client suddenly without warning collapsed to the ground and went into a coma, was rushed to the hospital, and was being prepped for emergency brain surgery to attempt to save his life. Your whole world stops when you get sudden news like that, and as your husband goes into surgery your image of him is hooked up to a ventilator, tubes, twitching, and not responsive. At that moment all you can do is muster up every bit of faith in the Lord and be still and KNOW that He is God, that He truly does the Impossible. This was a sobering shock for the entire family who immediately rushed to the hospital to rally around Amanda and Chris. Yes these are the parts of your vows, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, where you must truly now walk it out with your spouse. Chris has no health insurance and there are bills, medical and for the home, that will need to be paid as time goes on. The hospital is going to try and help some however Chris has months of recovery ahead of him and his family suggested I start a gofund me page. I also am going to now have to take on a car payment in order to have a vehicle to go back and forth to the hospital and rehab as our only vehicle is Chris's work van that is very difficult for me to drive as I was only recently cleared to drive by my doctor praise the Lord i was cleared. I not long ago just endured a 5 year battle where i myself was on the verge of death and paralyzed in a wheelchair. The Lord did a miraculous thing in my life and healed me and i am on the mend to total wellness. So i know the Lord is more than able. If you are lead and can give and bless us in the middle of this crisis i will pray the Lord honors and blesses each and everyone of you for your kindness and generosity toward us. God Bless you all thank you for your concern and i am trusting the Lord will give beauty for ashes as we endure this trial.
