Aaron Swartz Day Catch Up Fund

Update March 6, 2019:
Okay! We're not trying to have a second event Friday night. We decided to just pay the cancellation fee, rather than running up more bills that we can't afford with artists and food.
We know it's a bad week for fundraising and that there are more critical recipients than us right now , so do take care of them first, and if you have a little more after that, send it here.
Thanks!

Our January 11th Raw Thought event was incredible, and we learned all about how Aaron was erroneously caught up in an (International Terrorist Investigation involving Al Qaeda even!) - but the costs were a bit more than we had anticipated.
A lot of folks wouldn't have been able to come to the January 11th event if they had to buy a ticket, so we opened our doors and just put everyone on the guest list, hoping that perhaps our ticket sales from the public at large would cover our costs. (But alas, it didn't work out that way. )
$1379 will give us just enough to 1) pay the bill from our last event 2) deposit/cancellation fee for the event that was scheduled for March 8.
So, that's our predicament! Thanks for helping us break even.
