Together we do make a difference!!! This campaign allows us to rehabilitate Michael to create a new life and also allows our staff to help the people they serve in our community by bridging the gap from what they experience on duty and how they influence others off duty. These random acts of kindness rehabilitate our law enforcement officers to enjoy their role as a peace officer by connecting with the community on a deeper level to heal them metaphysically from the wear and tear of the pain behind the badge that isn't discussed and allows for a memorable and touching experience for those involved in these life altering transformations.
The DSA of Alameda County is proud to support this campaign, Deputy Swalwell and those that have helped Michael transform his future! We are seeking support to assist Michael with living expenses (home furnishings, rent, food, clothing & utilities) for one year and will post updates on his progress.
To date, Deputy Swalwell has reunited Michael with his mother. Michael is looking forward to a brighter future and looks forward to playing his guitar in his new home. http://cbsloc.al/2FEwjlU
