Humanitarian Trip 4 Typhoon Relief
Donation protected
In mid Janurary, Lindsay Long, L.Ac., was selected to be a part of an amazing opportunity to volunteer in Vietnam this April with a very small group of 8 other acupuncturists from all over the world. She will be one of only two Americans, besides the instructor, to provide acupuncture relief to locals affected by Typhoon Damrey which smashed the South Central Coast of Vietnam in November, killed over 106 people, and left thousands without homes. The group will be treating hundreds of locals for 6 full days and the trip will also involve small group classes and intense acupuncture study.
As an anniversary gift to celebrate 10 years in private practice Lindsay feels it is an important time to give back to people in serious need of help. The funds will help cover the costs of donation to the Pagoda where they will be treating, the numerous costs to cover licenses, fees, visas, transportation, lodging, meals, permits, and the translators needed to treat the locals.
The last decade of Lindsay's life has been dedicated to helping others. Working part time through all of her own education over the years has allowed her to fund her own undergraduate degree, masters degree, as well as numerous hours of continuing education all so she can better help people to live a more fulfulling, active, and pain free life without the need for medications that can have negative side effects. With your help, she truly believes this trip will enhance the course of many peoples' health and lives both abroad as well as in her private practice in the US. Thank you so much in advance for your consideration and time.
