Complete Aiko's Mission
Donation protected
The legacy of the late Aiko Herzig Yoshinaga is one of being an activist who fought for civil and human rights, who educated the public about the unconstitutional incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII and who played a pivotal role in the over-turning the Korematsu vs. the United States case which was the legal basis for that dark chapter in American history.
Help us ensure that the Aiko Herzig Yoshinaga Legacy Project is completed and her research made available to the public. Aiko was in the midst of organizing, cataloging and digitizing thousands of documents. Her goal was to allow anyone to have easy access to these historic materials.
Your support, large or small, will guarantee that Aiko’s life’s work will be completed, preserved and her mission of ensuring that the injustices of the past do not happen again may someday be realized.
For donations of $100 or more, we will send you a copy of Aiko’s essay “Words Can Lie or Clarify” as a special thank you.
