AIR POLLUTION CAMPAIGN: LEGAL COSTS

Air pollution in London kills over 9,000 people per year. Vulnerable groups like children and elderly are most affected by this. With our campaign "Stop Killing Londoners - Cut Air Pollution", we demand that the London Mayor Sadiq Khan and the UK government start to respond appropriately to this health emergency. We have organised 10-minute road blocks since July using nonviolent civil disobedience. More info: https://www.facebook.com/stopkillingldn/



This escalated to arrests from October 30th to November 6th and resulted in four of our campaigners being sent to prison on remand so we urgently need financial support for legal costs. We need to raise £2,000 to pay for legal advice, representation, and any exceptional expenses. We believe that everyone should be able to stand up for their right for clean air no matter of the legal costs that might entail! Thank you so much for your support!
