Hello, I am a 16 year old Trans guy looking for help in raising money for my top surgery.
The Surgeon that will perform my surgery will not accept any form of insurance. Dr. Medalie in Cleveland, Ohio is an internationally recognized expert in the field of Female to Male chest or “top” surgery. He is one of the best options for a safe and dependable procedure.
My family supports my decision however cannot afford the surgery. In order to have the surgery this summer I will need the money within the next two-three months. If I do not get the surgery this summer I will have to wait another year.
Living in the wrong body is an painful and traumatic experience I would never wish upon anyone. I have struggled with mental health for years related to dysphoria. When I found out that this surgery is an option it gave me hope, hope that I would not have to live the rest of my life in constant discomfort. Without this surgery I will have to live through another year of frustration and distress where everyday I look in the mirror and see a morphed version of myself.
By having this surgery I would be able to spend what is left of my childhood, free from the prison that today is my own body. I will be grateful for any help that can be provided whether it is a donation or just spreading my story. Thankyou.
