In Memory of Alex Zepeda

Hello family, friends, peers, and our fellow community; we are organizing this GoFundme in light of a very heartbreaking and unfortunate occurence. For many of you that may already know, on the night of October 28th, 2017 at 1:40am we lost a loving friend, son, and brother, Alex Giovanni Zepeda. During a Halloween festivity, Alex was persecuted by three anonymous individuals and was viciously shot and murdered outside the hosting household.
He was a 19 year old, sophomore student of Cal State University of Fullerton, alumni of Phineas Banning High School of the Class of 2016, competitive soccer player for SouthWestern YSC in the CSL gaming circuit under Cal South, and a loving friend to all. Having met Alex Zepeda, we believe it is easy to say that he touched every heart and soul he met. His unrepeatable personality, charm and energy kept him surrounded with love and friendship throughout his whole life. His devotion to his work and profession was inspirational; he always lead his peers to reach the best versions of themselves.
Alex encountered many forms of adversity throughout his life but through his community, sports, and academic affiliations he strived to become one of Wilmington's best role models.
The task to fundraise in between family and friends is extremely difficult and dealing with the loss of such a loved one is unbearable; therefore we genuinely reach out to you, the community, and loved ones of Alex Zepeda to help donate. If it happens to be that at this moment you are not able to provide help, it is completely understandable, we hope you can partake in being apart of someone's support system.
Thank you for your love and support, we the family and friends of Alex Zepeda are solemnly grateful for your generous donations and form of support.
Rest in Peace Alex Giovanni Zepeda, you will forever be in our hearts and remembered as a blessing to every life you touched.
