Medical Expenses for Alice Dubois
Donation protected
Alice Dubois is nothing short of AMAZING. All who know her have seen the passion she lends to everything she sets her hand to do. As the Agriculture teacher at Ponchatoula High School for twenty-five years, she took a faltering program and turned it into a nationally recognized FFA club. She has poured a vision for excellence into the hundreds of students that came through her door. They all came to love and respect her deeply. She recieved national acclaim as Teacher of the Year in Agriculture Science in 2012. She was honored by the Department of Education to represent the U.S.A. in Sorth Korea on a tour of educational and farming facilities.
Now Alice needs your help. She has been in a battle for her life since late 2012 against cancer. She was diagnosed with an extremely rare (usually incurable) form of Sarcoma. The expenses have been enormous!!! Not only did she have to take early retirement due to illness (which broke her heart), but her husband, Bruce has had to be off work for extended periods of time. Hotel stays (sometime for months at a time) in Houston near M.D. Anderson, meals, loss of pay - they all add up to a mountain of debt and a tremendous strain on them.
Many have asked what they can do to help. PRAYER is the main thing that has gotten her through to this point, but now she needs help financially. Please continue to pray, and give what you can. She and Bruce will really appreciate it. Regardless of the prognosis, Alice continues to fight for her life.
