Aliesha's Medical Fund

I met Aliesha a few months ago, she is a vibrant, energetic, beautiful little girl, who has been diagnosed with Epilepsy, and apraxia speech impairment. At the time of our introduction, Aliesha was playful, with a great sense of humour, running around like any normal little six year old, but I soon learned from her mother that Aliesha gets about 20 plus seizures a day. As a Mom, I couldn't even imagine having too watch your child go through this, and many times, she's admitted too the hospital. 

 Too add to the already frustrating, and debilitating disease, Aliesha has developed childhood Apraxia of Speech, also known as CAS, which requires her too attend speech therapy. She used too attend Grandview, but she has aged out, so now her sessions at Bloorview, which cost $90 an hour, twice a week. Also, her medications cost anywhere from $600 plus a month, which aren't covered by her insurance.

More than anything, we'd like a cure, but since that isn't going too happen any time soon, what we hope too achieve is financial assistance that will allow Aliesha to acquire a speech devise that costs over $5000, plus the assistance for visits too sick kids, therapy sessions, and hospital stays

I implore you too reach out, and give a helping hand too this wonderful, loving family, too imagine, just for a second, what your life would be like if your child were sick. The financial burden that accompanies such ailments also add unneeded stress too the family. Please, even if you can give a dollar, we'd be more than appreciative, and know, that every single second, our hearts thank you for taking the time to make life a little easier for this family.
