Alison's Cancer Battle
Meet local lady Alison Rolfe – it’s heart-breaking to witness what difference 9 months can make!
The mother of two, has been diagnosed with a rare form of bowel cancer. Only 7 days ago Alison and her family were given the prognosis that doctors suspected that Alison has only weeks to live.
It is incredible to see how this devastating information actually strengthened Alison's and her family's fight against this disease. Their are so many words which can be used to describe this family and Alison but inspirational seems quite accurate.
This heart-breaking story surrounds failures in the diagnosis of cancer for Alison and has already been published in the Altrincham Today; it is also set to appear in the Manchester Evening News, as soon as Alison has the strength to be interviewed.
Sadly, Alison's been diagnosed with a secondary and more aggressive tumour and her best chance at survival rests in a specialist clinic based in Germany, which houses specialist and state of the art treatment facilities
As you can imagine with this goal, there is an initial cost expected to be around £50, 000 to get Alison over to Germany. However, the treatment cost is not included in this. We hope that we can count on your support to help Alison and her family at another chance at life.
So far Alison and her family have raised £22,987 so lets help her reach her goal and get Alison over to Germany to get the treatment she truly deserves!!
Thank you for helping save a life.
