Alteras Van Break In Fund

Donation protected
As many of you probably already know, this past Tuesday, July 26th, our van was broken into while we were performing in Buffalo, New York.

The thieves smashed the window of our tour-home while we were on stage and stole from us Jake's MacBook Pro. While not only the hardware itself is a costly replacement, this laptop also contained Jake's client's projects that now all need either refunded their payment ($100-300 each) or have their near-complete projects restarted from scratch (which can be time consuming and/or frustrating for everyone involved).

What everyone may not know is that the day prior to this happening our van broke down and needed major fixes. We replaced four vital parts as quickly as we could in order to make the rest of this tour happen: the fuel pump, fuel filter, alternator, and battery. We didn't share this information because we didn't want anyone to think we'd let it stop us.

At the end of the day, Jake's laptop is a primary source for a lot of the content you've seen by Alteras. Our new logo, album artwork, various shirt designs, and music videos (including "Could Ever Love") were all generated on this computer.

Because of the van repairs, we're significantly set back financially. However, the band ultimately wants to do all that we can to help replace Jake's property as soon as possible so we can continue to put out more content for our amazing, supportive fan-base. You guys are the only reason we are able to do what we do and we're eternally grateful for that.

Here's where you come in:

We're asking for any kind of donation, no matter how big or small it will help. We have never been a band to ask for handouts on anything, but in this situation we're honestly at a loss and just want to help Jake in any way that we can.

Any money that you donate will be used to replace the laptop and recover damages from the break-in.

No words can describe how thankful we are for each and every one of you and even if no one donates we certainly aren't ashamed of at least trying for our friend.

Like we said before, we're eternally grateful for our fans and there is no way this will slow down this band. We can't wait to get touring on our new album "Grief" and look forward to meeting every single one of our fans across this beautiful nation.

Thank you for your time, your support, and any donations.

We love you!
